Receiving your requested item

Receiving your document supply request

  • Books or whole journals.
    You will receive email notification when the item is ready for collection. Items should be collected from the Library Enquiry Desk located on the ground floor of Sammy Ofer Centre. (Please check opening hours). Occasionally items may have to be read in the Library due to restrictions placed by the lending library, usually because it is a rare or special title.
     
  • Journal articles and book chapters. 
    Where possible, these will be delivered using the British Library's secure electronic delivery service. You will be required to sign a copyright declaration form before the secure download link is sent to you. 
    Please note: You must register for this service before you can receive documents in this way; please see the 'British Library electronic delivery' tab to the left for further information.  Email document.supply@london.edu if you have any questions about this service.

As the electronic service is not available for all items, some will be only be available for collection from the Library Enquiry Desk. If this is the case, you will be required to sign the copyright declaration form on collection.
