Finding print books
Use our Library catalogue to locate a print book. Search by keyword, title or author.
If we hold the book it gives a shelf location such as: LQA/LQB Ham.
Note if the the book is in the Main Collection or the Careers, Travel, Academic Study or Outsized collection.
If the book is on loan it shows the date under location.
Borrowing books
To borrow a print book use the book issue kiosk in front of the Library Desk. Scan your card's barcode under the red line, tap on borrow and then place the book/s on the glass plate. (No need to open them, you can do several at once.)
Click and Collect
Use the this service to have a book set aside for you ready to borrow when you come in. This is especailly useful if you are making a special journey. Do check out catalogue to ensure we have a print copy of the book.
