Students
Up to 15 loans max 5 Course collection titles.
Course Collection loans are for 24 hrs (Monday - Friday.)
We also have 3 day and 1 week loan items.
Standard loan is 2 weeks
Faculty and PhD Students
Up to 25 loans max 5 Course collection titles.
Course Collection loans are for 24 hrs (Monday - Friday.)
We also have 3 day and 1 week loan items.
Standard loan is 4 weeks
Staff
Up to 25 loans max 5 Course collection titles.
Course Collection loans are for 24 hrs (Monday - Friday.)

Alumni
Up to 5 loans
Course Collection borrowing is not permitted
We also have 3 day and 1 week loan items.
Standard loan is 2 weeks
Alumni will have to re-register with their new Alumni card.
Renewals
Books (except 24 hour loan copies) will be auto-renewed up to 30 times providing that nobody has requested them i.e. placed a hold. We email you to tell when there is a hold on a book you have borrowed.
Charges for overdue books:

Finding books
Use our Library catalogue to locate a print book. Search by keyword, title or author.
If we hold the book it gives a location.
If the book is on loan it shows the date under location. See below. This book lives on the shelf at: LQA/LQB Ham
Borrow
To borrow a print book use the book issue kiosk in front of the Library Desk. Scan your card pick borrow and then place the book/s on the glass plate.
