Training for Faculty
All new members of faculty are sent a welcome message from the library, which invites them to book a session with one of our information specialists to go through our available resources. However any member of faculty wishing to find out more about a particular database or to look into whether we have certain data available is very welcome to book an appointment. Please email library@london.edu to make an appointment.
Training for students
We are happy to come and speak to a class about accessing certain types of data / using particular databases. Alternatively we can create short online training content for your class (See an example that was created to help a class of part-time students find company accounts data). Please email library@london.edu and one of our information specialists will be in touch to discuss your requirements.
Training by database vendors
Many of our database vendors are happy to come in and run training sessions either for a class or for individual or small groups of Faculty (for example FactSet, Capital IQ and ThomsonReuters). Please email library@london.edu if you would like us to help you arrange this.
Additionally many of our databases offer online training videos or host webinars that can be signed up for. We regularly advertise forthcoming webinars on our main training pages.
