Visitor access to our library

Accessing the London Business School Library

It may be possible for you to visit our library. Please check the table below to see whether or not you are automatically  eligible to access our library. Please be aware that the use of our library is on a reference only basis unless you are accessing us through the Sconul Band A scheme in which case you can register to borrow books.
Visitors to our library are not permitted to access any of our electronic resources. Please check with us that you will be able to access the materials you need before travelling to the library.

Who can visit the library

Academics and Postgraduate Research Students (PhD's, MPhil's) Any academic institution Free None. However those with a SCONUL Band A access cards may register for limited borrowing rights (see Sconul access page). Card or letter from home institution, or SCONUL email confirming current status
Taught Postgraduate students University of London colleges only Free under the University of London Libraries Access Agreement None Card or letter from home institution confirming current status.
All other visitors Anyone wishing to visit the library who does not fall into one of the two categories above, but who can demonstrate a need to access printed material not readily accessible elsewhere, can apply to visit the library.  Please complete this request form at least two working days before your intended visit.
