Reading/Downloading |
JSTOR e-books can be downloaded or read online To download, select the chapter you want from the table of content, Click on 'I Accept, Proceed to PDF' to accept JSTOR’s terms and conditions. If you have set up a MyJSTOR account, this includes an acceptance of the JSTOR terms and conditions so you will not be prompted again. |
Downloading on Apple Devices |
Once you have clicked on the download option and accepted the terms & conditions it will open it in Safari but if you click on ‘More…’ you can choose the reader you wish to view the document in or use ‘Open in…’ to use the reader already in use. It will save the document to your device (in iBooks, Adobe Reader, BlueFire Reader etc) |

Accessibility
The JSTOR platform is compatible with screen readers, including JAWS. Images have 'informational text alternatives', while image-based PDFs can be read with screen readers (JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver).
It is possible to zoom text up to at least 200%, and to change font size and colour via browser settings.
