Wiley E-Books


There are over 25,000 e-books available via the Wiley E-Books platform. It is the world’s broadest multidisciplinary collection of online resources covering life, health, physical, and social sciences and the humanities.

Access on and off campus via library catalogue or Library A-Z list:


Wiley Online Library e-books can be viewed as HTML or PDF format on a chapter level, and printed in the same way as you would print any other HTML or PDF file. Printing is subject to the usual copyright limits.

Wiley Online Library e-books can be copied and pasted by highlighting the required text and using Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V.



VitalSource Bookshelf allows you to create flashcards, make notes, margin notes, and highlight sections.


Open and read Wiley books chapter by chapter, in HTML or PDF format.

VitalSource Bookshelf has an inbuilt Read Aloud function which can be accessed via the 'More Options' menu. See here for full details. All images also have descriptive alt-tags.

eBooks are available in PDF format, which means that the accessibility features of Adobe Reader including zoom, font size and colour selection etc. can be utilised.
